Recently I started working with leaves, flowers, etc on my copper pieces. I love the designs that I get from nature. It seems to compliment the copper very well and seems like a very natural look for the copper.
Pulling the price and ideas together to copper this kitchen island bar top. I’m thinking of no patina on the copper and just let it age organically. But then I also have another idea to patina it in the same look that I did for the Vintage Wine Bar in Franklin, TN.
Anyway, stay tuned. Kitchen island and Bar tops make a beautiful statement and conversation piece in your home! As well are commercial spaces.
Was a vendor in an Art & Garden Show this past weekend in Hendersonville, NC. I had copper planter stands, copper herb planters, copper birdhouses, copper resin blocks, copper art murals & copper planter boxes.
"Wabi-sabi" is a Japanese term that essentially means finding beauty in imperfection. Wabi refers to living with humility and simplicity while being at one with nature, while sabi is defined as the ability to accept the lifecycle of anything as it is —flaws and all.
The luxury and beauty of imperfection.
All of my copper patina designs have always felt natural and imperfect, yet absolutely stunning! The 2 absolutely complimenting each other and can’t exist without each other.
My client ended up commissioning me to add one more panel to go with the two I just recently did. He ended up framing them in a 3 panel set with copper framing. Which as you can see, is a one of a kind look. Love it!!
This is the kind of creative genius you get when working with one of the top 35 Interior Designers in the World, Howard Wiggins.
SOLD!! Thanks to The Silver Fox Gallery in Hendersonville, NC. One of my favorite pieces!
Vases for indoor plants, kitchen utensil holders, desk accessories, shelf accents, etc. These vases come in small and large sizes and can be used for a variety of home interior accent pieces. Each is a one of kind, made with copper patina.
Also, these make wonderful gifts.
Apparently Art, Copper, Mountains & Sunsets have a lot in common. :-) I seem to be getting a lot of commissions from people that have mountain homes, especially the ones with the long range vistas. They are asking for copper murals that look like sunsets over the mountain ranges.
This is the most recent one that I created. It’s getting crated up and shipping to a mountain home in Asheville for its retirement. :-)
