More Copper Backsplashes

This copper piece was sold to a lady in Atlanta that wanted it as a wall mural. That was my original intent and it worked beautifully. However, as I look at it again, I think this would be a stunning idea for a kitchen backsplash. How unique would that be?

Install would be easy as it could be adhered to a thin piece of PVC that can then attach to the drywall. If anyone wants to give this an opportunity to create a custom kitchen backsplash with aged copper, hit me up!! New creative ideas for copper backsplashes!!

What all can I do with Copper????

Just finished aging this 22”x34” piece of copper. From this point, I can use it to create a stunning wall mural, a serving platter, a table top, a planter box, an indoor vase, birdhouses, a mirror frame, sofa table, side tables, garden art, etc. As you can see, I have as many possibilities as one’s imagination can envision.

I am currently titling this piece “Canyon Landscapes” as it’s what I see if I decide to create a wall art mural with it.

Birdhouses, Birdhouses & Birdhouses

At some point, I started creating copper birdhouses with my excess copper. Birdhouses make great gifts for the nature lover in your life. Or a wonderful gift for yourself. These have clean out boxes in them. And ideal for small birds such as bluebirds, wrens, etc.

Each are one of a kind and a beautiful home for your feathered friends. And a colorful and unique addition to your flower, bird or butterfly gardens. Artful birdhouses.

Copper Patina Mountain Mural

A client had this structure on top of their home that was covered in copper. They removed the structure and gave me the copper and asked me to create something for their mountain home. I started aging it and then had to just sit with it for a couple of weeks to get the feel of it all. I wanted it to be something that would be meaningful to them since it was they’re copper. It needed to be sentimental above all else.

I love the contemporary mountain design that finally kept emerging. I wanted to use as much of the copper as possible and pretty much achieved that goal. I love the geometric design that came to fruition and it could be used in any type of home. I think it will be perfect for their mountain home with the reclaimed frames for each of the 4 seasons that flow from one panel to the next.

Copper is such a unique and beautiful metal to create one of a kind art for any home.
