Santa Fe Gallery

Mostly by Nature, a beautiful gallery located in Santa Fe, NM just recently sold a copper patina mural of mine. This is another mural they have showcased available for purchase. Copper patina, has such beautiful colors that are so reminiscent of the Southwestern palettes. Rich and colorful sunsets along with stunning mesa colors.

My Copper is a nice fit with this gallery as they carry all natural, one of a kind of pieces. Very grateful to be a partner with them.

Southwestern Looks

One of the things I love about copper is how I can create what I fell like, are very Southwestern colors and patterns. The colors and pattern work together to compliment any Southwestern theme, style and decor. The rich colors of the southwest sunsets are always visible in the rich patina copper colors.

It always makes me feel like I have been transported to Santa Fe when I am creating a piece. And I love that!

Copper Blues

This 2 panel copper mural is just a sample of the blues that you can get with copper patinas. Many factors go into what will finally emerge and the artist can shift it to certain color palettes but will never have complete control of the color. Which is what I love about copper. Copper lends itself to a very Wabi Sabi design style as both are very organic and natural. The beauty of Nature complimenting certain Interior Design looks.

Copper Commission Art Mural

The couple that commissioned this mural live in Travelers Rest, SC. I met them at an Art Show I was doing in Hendersonville, NC. They showed me the space where they wanted something of a conversation piece and felt like my copper would be the perfect piece.

They gave me photo’s that they had taken of the sunsets off of the back of their stunning outdoor area. This was easy for me since I am a sunset nerd and chase sunsets every night. And of course all of my sunsets pics, look like copper. :-)

This had the look and feel of the sunsets and the mountains that surround their home. In the end, I couldn’t have been happier with how this looked in its permanent location. It has become a statement piece for the alcove at the end of the hallway and really mimics their entire outdoor views. Copper is such a natural and beautiful element.

"Water Totem" Copper Mural

This copper mural was sold from a gallery I partner with in Santa Fe, NM, Mostly by Nature. I loved the blues in it and while it isn’t Southwestern in style, the blues are very ubiquitous of the turquoise found all over the Southwest. This gallery is absolutely stunning and if you find yourself in Santa Fe, make it a point to go see it. The pieces they have in the gallery are all one of a kind and organic in nature.
